Fulfilling Badge Requirements:

Activity: Discuss physical health and mental health. |

Activity: With a flipchart or whiteboard, have each scout tell one way to improve physical health and mental health. |

Game: As a group, perform at least 5 minutes of stretching exercises. |

Activity: Perform curl-ups, pull-ups, push-ups, long jump, and quarter-mile run.
Track results on an Athlete Tracking Chart. Homework: Practice these exercises at home for a month. Activity: At second den meeting, perform exercises again and record on chart. |

Activity: Perform a vertical jump and record results. |

Activity: Run 50 yards and record results. |

Activity: Ride a bike 1 mile and record results. |

Snacks: juice and power bars. Talk about how the power bars taste and read ingredients and calories to decide if they are healthy or not for daily use.
