Fried Ham Song

I learned this too, years ago... from sixth- and  eighth- graders during a Disciple Now weekend. They sang it ALMOST exactly the same... their version makes a bit more sense. Lol, if a crazy, non-sensical song CAN make sense! ;0) Either way, this song is so much fun to sing... lets make sure it doesn't disappear! Here was what they taught me.... Fried ham, fried ham, Cheese and bologna, After the macaroni, We�ll have Hot dogs, pickles, and onions, Then we�ll have some mo-o-ore (more) fried ham!

6th grade camp for me... I'm 51 now and still remember the words... my husband and I are planning on singing it to our grandkids (when we have some) around a campfire to embarrass everyone... can't wait!

With all this Mad Men talk on Twitter.. I find myself singing: Jon Hamm, Jon Hamm Cheese and Bologna ... I need to make up a Don Draper verse! ;)

I remembered this song from when I was at Christian Camp almost 30years ago. Now I'm going to teach it to my son and my Cub Scouts this weekend for our camp out. I hope like it.

We always sang "meat and potatoes" instead of "cheese and bologna."
