Dutch Oven Chicken Recipe
This Recipe is meant for Scouts BSA.
Ingredients:
3lb. whole frying chicken
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. poultry seasoning

Instructions:
Wash chicken and pat dry.
Sprinkle cavity with salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning.
Place on aluminum foil and sprinkle with basil.
Wrap in aluminum foil.
Put in dutch oven.
Cover and Bake at about 350 degrees for 4 hours or until tender.

All dutch oven recipes use a 12-inch dutch oven, unless specified. If you have a 10-inch dutch oven, use about 2/3 to 3/4 of the ingredient amounts but keep the temperature and time about the same.
If no temperature is listed, use 350 degrees.
