Are Den Leaders allowed to teach the American Red Cross BAT course for Bear Cubs? I am CPR/AED/First Aid trained. If so, where do buy one of the manuals to teach them? Thanks for your help in advance.

@Jeff - Yes, you can teach it. Search for materials at ShopStayWell.com

We have some boys in our Troop interested in this award, but
they are having difficulty with Requirement 3 of the Boy
Scout Individual requirements. What programs constitute as
"emergency preparedness training" and what popular
organizations (FEMA, American Red Cross, etc.) regularly
offer these classes for entire BSA Troops? Thanks in
advance.
Jul 02, 2015 - Scouter Paul
@Bryan - As listed in the "Resources" area above, check out
Ready.gov for emergency preparedness agencies and training
available. Especially, read ready.gov/youth-preparedness

What is the difference between earning the regular pin, and earning the Bronze, Silver, or

Apr 10, 2024 - Evelyn Herrera
Can cubs still earn this pin currently 2024? Mostly asking due to
all the recent changes. Thanks
Apr 13, 2024 - Scouter Paul
Evelyn - No, the award is discontinued and pins are no longer available.
