Jennifer - the "13 year old" policy is for COPPA - it's simpler to say participants need to be over 13 rather than obtain additional consent from parents.  Entries are by email address, so you can enter using any address you want.

Hi,  I was the winner of the $25 BSA Supply gift card for November.  I wanted to let you know that I decided to "Pay it forward" and I have presented the gift card to our troop's Advancement Chair to be used for the puchase of awards and insignia for the scouts.

 Thanks for running a very useful site.  It is easier to use your site for a quick reference on advancement/MB requirements than it is to use scouting.org.  Please continue to keep the information current.

This web site is full and gainful information. Been using this site for about 2 years or more.  Keep up the good work. Boy Scouts is wonderful for the boys to learn and this site is full of information.

My son just moved up to Boy Scouts so I am continuing to learn the ropes!  Your site is especially helpful and I am grateful.  My son has Autism and we use scouts to help his social and learning skills but he needs significant help and I greatly appreciate your time and efforts into maintaining this resources for scouts and parents!

Our entire family of scout use this website (5 in all). Including a life scout-working on Eagle, a newly advanced star scout , and both my husband & I as ASM's teaching many merit badges. I'm not trying to brag-although proud-but making my point that no matter where you are in your scouting progression, there is much info.on this site for all your needs:). I give it 2thumbs up!!  Now hoping I may win a scoutshop gift card to use on materials for our patrol. :)fingers crossed.

This is the best scouting resource site. I have used it since my son was a Tiger; he's now a Life Scout. I continue to use it as I "grow up" my third Cub Scout Den.

This was my first year as a Den Leader. I have enjoyed it, but find ideas don't come easily for me. I have three boys in my den, and this site has helped me lay out a great summer plan for my now Webelos. With all boys going to Twilight and Overnight camp, and the activities I have planned the boys will be getting quite a bit at the first pack meeting. Thank you for the great ideas, and the help. Keep it coming. I need all the help I can get.
