I don't know what conclusion the study will come to but I can tell you that my scouting experience mattered and that achieving the rank of eagle taught me many life lessons that I still apply to this day.

My scouting experiences, especially achieving the rank of Eagle Scout has made MANY DIFFERENCES in my life - from shaping how and where I would go to school (University of Michigan) to shaping the focus of my carrer - and being hired by my employer.
I am not looking to encourage my son, and his friends (and future friends) as a Assistant Scoutmaster.
