This Song is meant for Boy Scouts.
Decide for yourself if it is appropriate for your younger scouts or not.
Tune: Yankee Doodle
A good way to remember the 12 parts of the Scout Law
Trusty Tommy was a Boy Scout
Loyal to his mother,
Helpful to the folks about,
And Friendly to his brother.
Courteous to the girls he knew,
Kind unto his rabbit,
Obedient to his father, too,
and Cheerful in his habits.
Thrifty saving for a need,
Brave, but not a faker,
Clean in thought and word and deed,
And Reverent to his Maker.
Did you try it and like it? Or hate it?|

This song is an adaptation of the Great Laws of the Boy Rangers of America. The BRA was a non-BSA Scouting group for boys 8-12 years old, organized in 1913. It mainly folded into Cubbing in the 1930s, but some groups survived through the 1940s.
Trusty Tommy is a Ranger
Loyal true to every test,
Helpful to the needy stranger
Friendly, giving of his best.
Courteous to the girls he knows
Kind, a good turn every day
Obedient to his parents, too,
Cheerful, both in work and play
Thrifty, saving for a need
Brave, and not a faker
Clean in thought, in speech and deed
Reverent to his Maker.
