Blind Knots   Blind Knots Activity   Scout Activity

This Activity is meant for Boy Scouts.
Decide for yourself if it is appropriate for your younger scouts or not.
Required:
rope, pencil, paper for each player
Notes:
develop knot tying skills
Each player has a paper, pencil, and rope.
Players sit in a line and put on blindfolds.
Leader ties a knot in his rope and passes it down the line for each player to feel for 10 seconds to figure out what it is.
Each player writes down what knot he thinks it is and then tries to tie that knot in his own rope.

Leader checks tied knot versus written knot.
