Boy Scout Awards
There are many awards available to cub scouts and boy scouts that often go unearned simply because the leaders are not aware of them. Here you can find requirements and information about the common world conservation award and religious award, as well as less known heritage, emergency preparedness, physical fitness, and other recognitions. Making additional scout awards available to your den or patrol members gives them opportunities to try new things and expand their skills.
Recognition of accomplishments is important to keep the boys involved and advancing in skill and rank. Making the awards meaningful through strict requirement checking and thoughtful presentation ceremonies will improve scout activity and ongoing participation.
